Recycled foam 160 (self-adhesive / not adhesive)
Recycled foam 160 (self-adhesive) is a compressed recyclate foam, made of crushed leftovers pieces of various polyurethane-foams (PU-foams), which are inextricably bonded with a binder. Self-adhesive equipment with a high-quality adhesive system based on acrylate. Recycled foam 160a (not adhesive) is a compressed recyclate foam, made of crushed leftovers pieces of various polyurethane-foams (PU-foams), which are inextricably bonded with a binder.
Main function
Airborne sound absorption (absorption) and airborne sound insulation,
structure-borne sound insulation (anti-drumming)
Applications
Sound insulating cabins, vehicle cabins, mechanical engineering etc.
Processing
Self-adhesive:
The surface must be carefully cleaned from dust, grease, oil and water.
Full area adhesion has to be insured. The adhesion strength is directly dependent from the processing pressure. The material has to be pressed in firmly, e.g. using a feed roll
Processing temperature: 18 - 25 °C
Not adhesive:
Mechanical attachment

Option
The material is also available with a polyester fleece surface.

Dry at temperatures between 18 - 25 °C
Max storage time: 6 months
